This coffee comes from the region of Pocos de Caldas. It is a very fertile area whose green hills are scattered with coffee farms. It enjoys a mild, temperate climate and an average altitude of at least 1,000m (3,280 ft.). Peaberry coffees are rare, occurring only 5% or less in crops when only one bean inside the cherry develops, creating a much sought-after concentrated flavor.

This Tanzania Peaberry Coffee is grown on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro in the Mbya region. The Mbya region consists of roughly 10,000 smallholder farmers that own, on average 500 trees each.
