Me & Them

DJ Geribo has written an unconventional memoir. Many baby boomers will relate to these stories about her parents and the life she lived in a working-class neighborhood surrounded by people from different ethnic backgrounds during the 1950's. Told with candor and compassion as a series of vignettes about her parents, the author recalls the often humorous, sometimes sad, experiences while growing up just outside of Boston, Massachusetts. We don't get to choose our parents, so we just have to get through the daily events that make up, for better or for worse, the substance of our early childhood.
