My name is Kathy-Joe and I started Black Kats and Bookish Things as a hobby and something to do with my kids. I had no idea that it would become all that it is today! I was very disappointed in the lack of bookish things available at reasonable prices. After having several failed purchases, I decided I would start making and selling blind date with a book and other bookish gifts. I took the parts I loved and the parts I hated to make it my own. My kids and my mom all help with my growing business. It is a great way for us to spend time together!
