All classes are held at The Manchester Craft Market in our Classroom!
Tickets must be purchased in advance. Ticket sales typically end the day before the class.
Class & Workshop tickets are not refundable if purchaser does not attend. Missed classes may be transferred to a class held by the teacher of the original class at the teacher's discretion. Please contact the store for more information.
This intermediate sewing machine class will take place over 3 weeks, meeting weekly for 2 hours. All materials are included. You will make an apron using a pattern and leave with the following skills: Ability to read a basic pattern, fabric cutting techniques, basting and topstitching. What You Need to Bring: Your working sewing machine (optional, but highly recommended for personalized learning; limited machines are available to rent for the session). All machine accessories, including power cords. Your machine's manual if you have it (not required, but helpful). This class is not an introduction to your machine and you should be able to sew straight line and troubleshoot your machine. About the Maker
I'm Christine, the maker and owner of Sew Creative Gift Shop! Sewing is something that is near and dear to me as I started sewing alongside my grandmother when I was a child. Today Sew Creative Gift Shop is entering its 10th year in business and you can find my items in various stores, in person at a number of New England area events, and on my website.
Additionally I offer sewing classes where I help others learn the joy (and fun!) of creating something by hand.
