05/22 Get to know your Sewing Machine Class - Introductory Lesson

In this 2-hour session, you will receive training on your machine including: *Parts of your machine *Needles - the differences between each and how/when to change them *Presser feet - various types and uses *Practice stitches *Threading the machine *Overview of different types of fabrics and threads * Basic maintenance and troubleshooting. *What You Need to Know: This class is an introduction to your machine and is geared towards getting you comfortable with the functions on your machine and allowing you to get familiar with sewing terminology. You will leave with sewing samples rather than finished projects. *What You Need to Bring: *Your sewing machine, *all machine accessories, including power cords, bobbins, any needles and presser feet, and your machine's manual if you have it (not required, but helpful).
