Donna Marie Vuilleumier is an ordained UCC minister. Since 2003 her ministry has included hospice chaplaincy and education strongly focused on spiritual care for those living with Alzheimer’s/dementia. This education is both what she offers to families, professional caregivers, ministers and churches, and it is also the education she receives from those living with memory loss and decline as they have much to teach about living in the moment, that emotions are often more important than facts, that actions mean more than words, and the comfort that spirituality is always with us. She attended MA Bay Community College, Framingham State College and received her M.Div. from Andover Newton Theological School. She is a workshop presenter and has led support groups on the topics of spiritual care and dementia as well as death and dying. She is a Certified Dementia Friend and Certified End-of-Life Doula. She is the author of Always With You: Spiritual Comfort for Those Living in the World of Dementia (Pilgrim Press, 2026). Donna is a member of the Monadnock Writer’s Group and the NH Writer’s Project.
