A Twist of Fate

Serena- What's the first thing that you do when you go on the run? Dye your hair? Cut your hair? Change your name? Gain weight? Lose weight? None of the above, actually. You die. Or at least, I did, until I accidentally walked into the wrong building and Twister, aka Chase, bulldozed into my new life. But I'm getting to know him, and I'm not sure I want to leave now, if ever. Twister- I'm on the phone when a beautiful young woman walks into my club. I didn't see her, but she heard me admitting to doing something that no one should have ever heard. Letting her go is not in the cards, much to her dismay. It's not long before I find out that she's running from someone who would stop at nothing to hurt her. Now it's time to protect her. I couldn't protect my best friend years ago, but this time I won't fail. The only problem is that I'm not sure I want to let her go after the danger is gone.
