I am a self-taught landscape painter. I started with oils when I was 15. A year later I showcased my work at local agricultural fair in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine. At that venue, senator Musky purchased a Maine seacoast village that I made. I did not make a career out of art at that time; in fact I did only occasional paintings for friends and relatives. Now that I am partially retired I have more time to devote toward art work.

Being creative in my artwork is very relaxing for me, in fact I don't look at it as "work" at all. The times when I set up my easel is almost always a "me time " and thoroughly enjoy it!
