Hello I'm Carolina Portillo , I created Recycled Glass Studio 21 years ago. I design one of a kind pieces and love working recycled glass that comes from windows picture frames and other sources, leather, paper and other “found” materials. I creating something new, meaningful and artistic out of recycled materials .Arts and crafts have always been a passion of mine. Creating is always a pleasure and seeing someone walking in town wearing my pieces is priceless!!!

All my pieces are handmade. I work mostly with recycled glass that comes from windows and other sources. The glass is cut, colored and placed in the kiln to fuse. That is where the magic happens! When the glass fuses each design becomes a unique creation due to the "vitro-fusion" process. "Eco-friendly jewelry" at its finest!
