About the original: Acrylic gouache on paper, 11"x15", 2024, painted by Jackie Hanson This is the fourth New Hampshire-shaped painting I've created, and probably my favorite yet. It's an image from my college friends' Halloween wedding in the White Mountains. To create the original painting, I traced the cover of a New Hampshire atlas and transferred the shape to watercolor paper. Then, I applied 1/4" masking tape around the entire thing, did my painting in gouache, and peeled the tape away at the end.

This ornament is made from 1/8-inch birch plywood sheet. It features the Old Man of the Mountain on the front. The NH shape is as close to the real shape of the state and the NH shape is also cut out in the middle of the ornament. Please note that items made with wood can have natural variations.
