6/07 DIY Ceramic Hanging Plant Pot Class

Included in the class, students will get to make their own starter hanging plant pot. They will receive 1.5 lbs of clay to make their planters using a pinching technique that I will demonstrate and assist with. After constructing their pots students will have the opportunity to paint their pots with underglaze. After class pieces will be brought to my studio space for proper drying and begin the kiln firing process. Pieces will be dipped in a clear glaze. Finished pieces will be available for pickup at the Manchester Craft Market approximately 4 weeks after the class.
