In this 2-hour session, you learn about: Parts of your machine, Needles - the differences between each & how/when to change them, Presser feet - various types and uses, Practice stitches, Threading the machine, Overview of different types of fabrics and threads, Basic maintenance and troubleshooting. What You Need to Know: This class is an introduction to your machine and is geared towards getting you comfortable with the functions on your machine and familiar with sewing terminology. You will leave with sewing samples rather than finished projects. What You Need to Bring: Your sewing machine (optional, but highly recommended for personalized learning, limited machines are available to rent for the session). All machine accessories, including power cords, any needles and presser feet, and your machine's manual if you have it (not required, but helpful). Each person will get a small 2x6 wooden hanging sign. We have markers, paint, stencils, stickers and more to design a sign of any kind you'd like. Join Karen Campagna for a relaxing winter watercolor class on Saturday, January 17, where participants will paint a peaceful snowy field with a traditional New England red barn. This three-hour workshop will be held from 11 am - 2 pm in the afternoon, and every student will complete a finished 6x9 watercolor painting. During the class, you'll work with a limited color palette and learn techniques such as creating smooth washes, building snowy textures, layering for depth, controlling values, and adding crisp details to bring the red barn forward in the scene. The class is $60 per person, and all materials are included. Light snacks will be provided. No prior experience is required. Adults only

Spend a peaceful winter afternoon painting a serene snowy field and classic New England red barn on Saturday, January 31. This workshop will run from 1:30 to 4:30 PM, and each participant will complete a 6x9 watercolor painting to take home. Students will work with a limited color palette and learn essential watercolor skills such as controlled washes, glazing, building texture in snow, understanding values, and adding fine details to create a strong focal point. 01/31 Winter Barn Scene Watercolor Painting Class Saturday January 31st

Tuesdays, 1:30pm - 3:30pm, Sept. 23, 30, Oct. 7 & 14 Four, two hour classes. Don’t have any supplies? You won't need any for the first class! But if you do have some, you are welcome to bring them with you. Week 1: We will go over the supply list so you can shop smartly for your watercolor paints, brushes and paper. Then using the instructor provided supplies (or your own), you will learn some basic watercolor techniques. Week 2: You will practice instructor directed techniques using your new materials. Week 3: Simplifying Color mixing; not as hard as you think! Week 4: Brush work techniques, tips and hacks.
Join me for a fun ocean resin trinket dish class. Bring your own sand and shells or use ours. Everything you need will be provided for this class. If you suffer from respiratory issues, this class may not be for you as there are some minor fumes from the resin. Please wear comfortable clothes that aren't fuzzy and don't hang from your arms.
